Happy April Fool's Day!

It's really scary how quickly time passes by even when you're not doing anything much. It's April already?! Goodness. Snickers is now 4 months old and soon, I'm going to be that dreaded number which I'm not even going to say yet. Urgh.

Snickers is getting bigger and bigger every week. Just look at how much he's grown...

Soon, I wouldn't be able to carry him anymore. He weighs about 15 lbs now - a very nice, compact size - I wished he would stop growing now. However, he is only about half the size of his adult weight at this stage so my guess is that he's going to be about twice his current weight at maturity. Nevertheless, he's still such a cutie pie. He is more or less housebroken. The only "accidents" that occur in the house are mainly due to excitement when people come to visit us. He gets overly excited and hyper when he sees new people. I hope he'll outgrow this problem. He knows a few basic commands but still needs a little bit more practice in his obedience training. I wanted to enroll him into one of those puppy schools but my finances are not looking very good at the moment so I figured since I have so much time on my hands anyways, I should just save the money and put in more effort in training him myself instead. He's so eager to please and he'd do anything for a treat so it's really not that difficult to train him. It's just the socialization with other dogs that needs work. He needs to learn the proper way how to socialize and interact with other dogs and of course, humans as well.

Check the little rascal out.

Want to hear him speak?
